Please be advised that piling operations will commence on Tuesday 29th January 2008 at the Northern Waste Water Treatment Plant.
It is anticipated that piling operations will take a maximum of 2 months to complete, and all piling works will be undertaken during normal construction hours of 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 7am to 1.30pm on Saturdays.
As there is a large distance between the actual piling and the nearby residences, it is not anticipated that the piling operations will generate any significant disturbances to residents.
For all additional enquiries, please contact Steve Phillips on 0438 541 826 or the Cleaner Seas Alliance Office on 4042 3500.

With the approval of the project to commence works the team have been busy at two (Marlin Coast and Northern) of the four sites under this project being Marlin Coast, Northern, Southern and Edmonton.
Marlin Coast was the first site to kick off with site establishment and ground preparation works as seen below.
The Northern site has seen the commencement of “surcharging” of the site in preparation for construction within the coming months.
Every effort will be made to minimise the impact on residents during this construction period however, these works could result in potential increased traffic movements, noise and dust issues while construction is being undertaken. The program continues through until mid 2010 with additional works also to occur at the Southern and Edmonton plants.
